March 5, 2013 at 7:05 am #1413Hi James,
I am very sorry to hear about the decision of London Casino’s to close Alea Leeds and the Leeds Kitchen. The restaurant has been a favourite with us from very early days and I just can’t believe it. It is devastating for you and all the staff who put in so much hard work to build it to what it is.
In Holland we have a saying that translates a bit like “When God closes one door, he will always open a window for you”. I hope this decision by the casino will prove to be a window of opportunity for you and all the lovely people at the Leeds Kitchen and that you will be able to re-open in some shape or form although I appreciate that is easier said than done. Good luck and please pass on my well wishes to all at the Leeds Kitchen. They have given us some great times and lovely memories.
Take Care,
Love,
Carla xxx

March 5, 2013 at 10:24 am #1415Such sad news, but as Carla said, something good is going to come out of it, everything for a reason…..I am sure the Leeds team will be up and running somewhere else in the vacinity – good luck to all
March 6, 2013 at 6:29 pm #1417Totally agree with Carla,as one door closes, another one opens, we really hope this comes true for you and all the wonderful staff at LK. We have had such great times there making and meeting new friends. We always said the staff were our second family,it was true too.Really hope you can salvage something out of this awfu situation, somewhere, somehow and can assure you of our continued support.
For now thinking and wishing good luck to all concerned …xxxxxxJune and Eric
