Cut the ready-rolled pastry into a circle or oblong
Place the pastry on the tray and then dock all over with a knife. Brush the edges with egg wash and top with marzipan or membrillo paste. Place the thinly sliced apples on top, sprinkle with sugar and brush with half of the melted butter
Bake for 20 minutes
To finish, brush with the rest of the melted butter
100g marzipan, thinly sliced or 2 tbsp membrillo paste
3 apples, sliced thinly
1 egg yolk, for egg wash
50g melted butter
Sugar, for sprinkling

Pre heat the oven to 200°c and line a baking tray
