BBQ Beer Butt Chicken with Potatoes
Just rub the chicken with BBQ spice, sit it on a can of beer, and roast with baby potatoes, rosemary, and garlic until golden and tender. The ultimate weekend feast. James used sauce from Big Nath's BBQ!
Rub the rub all over the chicken drizzle in olive oil.
Heat a BBQ until hot and the coals are grey. Pile the potatoes, herbs and garlic into a dish, then place the chicken on an open can of larger upright.
Place it all on the BBQ or in the oven at 200C for 1 hour, until the juices run clear when you pierce the skin.
Warm the BBQ sauce in a pan.
Serve the chicken with the potatoes on a platter and pour over the BBQ sauce.
