Ingredients

  • 2 x 200g piece sirloin
  • ½ oxo beef cube
  • 25ml vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 200g broccolini
  • 25ml olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
Sauce
  • 1 tbs ginger paste
  • 1 tbs garlic paste
  • 2 tbs chilli paste
  • 2 tbs soy sauce
  • 2 tbs white miso
  • 1 tbs mirin
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbs sesame oil
  • Veg oil for frying

Method

Heat a BBQ until hot and the coals are white.

Put the steak into a tray with the oil then pop on the BBQ and cook for 2 minutes on each side until charred, season  pop in the oven for 5 minutes.

Rest and sprinkle over a little of the stock cube.

Meanwhile pop all the ingredients for the sauce mix into a pan bring to the boil then gently reduce by ½ season. BBQ the oiled broccolini until charred.

To serve slice the beef pop onto a platter with the veg and spoon over the sauce.
