  • 300g smoked mackerel
  • 1 lemon juice and zest
  • 100ml cream cheese
  • 50ml double cream
  • Salt and pepper
To serve
  • Netherend butter
  • Toasted sourdough
  • 2 tbsp French dressing
  • Watercress
  • Italian leaves

Method

To make the pâté, put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix. Season. Spoon onto plates and serve the bread alongside with butter and dressed leaves.
