Meatballs with Spanish Sauce

Season the meat and roll into 12 even sized balls. Fry in a non-stick pan for 8 to 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, fry the onion and garlic in oil for a minute. Add the oregano, wine tomatoes, peppers, pimento, sherry and star anise and bring to the boil.
Simmer for 5 minutes then finish with the parsley, remove the star anise and season. Pop the meatballs in the sauce and serve.
