Ingredients
- 2 x 200g sirloin steaks
- 100ml mirin
- 100ml sake
- 25ml soy
- 100g caster sugar
- 200g green beans blanched ( buy yellow too )
- 200g broccolini BBQ’d
- 25ml pomegranate mollasses
- 50ml olive oil
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 tbs capers
- 1 lemon
- 1 small bunch chervil and tarragon chopped
Method
Heat a bbq until hot and the coals are white.
Heat the mirin sugar and sake up in a pan bring to the boil reduce by ½ add the soy and reduce by ½ again, take off the heat.
Pop the steaks into the bbq cook for 2 minutes then flip over a cook for a further 2 minutes, pop in the oven for 4 minutes, brush with the teriyaki and rest.
Mix all the ingredients together for the salad.
To serve slice the steak pop on a plate top with salad and spoon over more of the teriyaki .
