Ingredients

  • 2 x 200g Rib eye steaks
  • 150g sirloin steak
  • 150g rump steak
  • 1 tomahawk steak
  • 1 oxo beef cube
  • 25ml veg oil
  • 50g butter
  • Salt and pepper

Method

Heat a griddle until hot and smoking. Heat the oven to 200c. Heat a large non-stick pan until smoking hot.

Drizzle the steaks in oil and season on both sides.

Pop the Tomahawk on the grill. When deeply coloured, flip over and cook on the other side for 3 to 4 minutes. Sprinkle with oxo then pop in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes.

Pop the rib eye and sirloin into the pan and cook for 2 minutes then flip over and cook for a further 2 minutes, add the butter garlic and thyme when foaming spoon over the steaks. Rest. Sprinkle with oxo.
