- 2 squid, cleaned and cut into rings
- 75g plain flour
- Salt and pepper
- Veg oil to fry

- 100g diced chorizo
- 50ml olive oil
- 4 squid, cleaned and sliced
Method
Black bean squid
To make the black bean sauce place the oil ginger garlic beans wine sesame oil and soy into a pan bring to the boil then simmer for 2 mins. Meanwhile coat the and squid in oil pop on the grill and cook for 2 minutes turning ½ way through. To serve spoon the sauce onto the plate top with squid., sprinkle over the spring onions.
Deep fried squid
Heat a deep fat fryer to 180c
Coat the squid in seasoned flour. Deep fry for 1 to 2 minutes. Drain and dot with lemons.
Pan fried chorizo squid
In a hot frying pan, cook the chorizo in oil until crisp. Add the squid and cook for another minute or 2.
